The Ritz-Carlton Kyoto is set to host a special two-day lunch event on November 16th and 19th, 2023, featuring Executive Italian Chef Katsuhito Inoue. The unique luncheon will take place amidst the serene bamboo groves of Arashiyama, Kyoto, away from the hotel at a semi-private dining area specially set up in the midst of nature. This exceptional setting allows guests to experience a live, sensory-rich culinary journey, where they can observe the chef’s artistry, hear the sizzle, savor the aromas, and enjoy the natural backdrop of the bamboo forest. While “Chef’s Table by Katsuhito Inoue” typically offers dinner service, this event marks its first-ever venture into the realm of lunch service. Chef Katsuhito Inoue, known for his culinary expertise honed in famous restaurants in Tokyo, Italy, and Spain, has made a name for himself as the head chef at “Bulgari Il Ristorante Luca Fantin,” which ranked 18th in the 2019 “Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants” and earned a Michelin star.
