Haruki Murakami Library welcomes visitors with striking architecture that sparks curiosity at first glance. The stark white building, surrounded by large, flowing arches, leads you through a wooden tunnel that seems to descend underground. This imaginative design was created by Kengo Kuma, a world-renowned Japanese architect known for blending natural materials with modern design, and a specially appointed professor at Waseda University. His architectural vision beautifully draws visitors into the literary world of Murakami.
