Global Step Academy Inc. (GSA) proudly announces the opening of SOLTILO GSA International School (SGIS)’s brand new campus in Motomachi Wellness Park (tentative name), a brand new community hub in Ochanomizu, Tokyo, in April 2025. This expansion marks an exciting milestone for SGIS, renowned for its innovative approach to international education, blending the acclaimed sports program of SOLTILO with the rigorous English curriculum of Global Step Academy.
Founded with a commitment to providing unparalleled quality in international education, SGIS fosters children’s intellectual growth and overall well-being. The school’s philosophy revolves around empowering students to think critically and make informed decisions from a global perspective, preparing them to thrive in an ever-evolving world. The school is committed to offering a holistic global educational experience for children of all ages, extending beyond preschool and kindergarten to encompass after-school programs and seasonal camps tailored for elementary school students.
Central to SGIS’s educational ethos is its strategic partnership with SOLTILO, founded by Keisuke Honda. Through the SOLTILO curriculum, students embark on a transformative journey that transcends mere athletic training, fostering essential life skills such as teamwork, resilience, and goal-setting. With a holistic approach to physical and mental well-being, SGIS aims to instill in its students a deep-seated love for sports and a resilient spirit that will serve them well beyond the confines of the classroom.
“Our philosophy is rooted in the belief that the formative years from two to six are crucial for nurturing a child’s innate curiosity and zest for life,” explained Hisao Namikawa, General Manager. “By imbuing them with a passion for physical activity and instilling in them the belief that anything is possible, we hope to inspire the next generation of leaders to dream big and reach for the stars.”
SGIS offers a comprehensive curriculum encompassing language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, arts, and Japanese language and culture. With a blend of hands-on activities, outdoor playtime, and enriching field trips, students are provided with a well-rounded education that prepares them for future academic and personal success.
