Price Change for “S Work P Seats” on JR Shinkansen Tickets Starting May 15, 2025
The “S Work P Seat” is a special seat designed for business professionals who want to work comfortably while riding the Shinkansen. It is available on select trains of the JR Tokaido and Sanyo Shinkansen lines, including the Nozomi, Hikari, and Kodama services.
Starting Thursday, May 15, 2025, the additional fee for the S Work P Seat will increase from 1,200 yen to 2,000 yen.
