The disconnection time may vary depending on the electricity provider. In many electricity companies, the payment method for the first electricity bill when you initially contract with them is often done through payment slips. You can take the payment slip that arrives at your home from the electricity company to a bank, post office, or convenience store to make the payment. Convenience stores are convenient because you can make payments there even on Saturdays, Sundays, holidays, and at night. For example, with TEPCO, you receive the initial billing amount via SMS, and from there, you can also pay using methods such as credit cards. Please confirm with the new electricity company during Step 2 regarding the payment methods available when contracting with them.
