To showcase this stunning vista, the special “Kobe Christmas Market 2023” will be held from November 11th (Sat). Situated atop a 400-meter high mountain, the “Kobe Nunobiki Herb Gardens & Ropeway” (operated by Kobe Resort Service Co., Ltd.) offers the “Kobe Christmas Market 2023,” which runs from November 11th, 2023 (Sat) to December 25th, 2023 (Mon).
You can enjoy shopping the various Christmas goods, including German crafts such as nutcrackers, Christmas ornaments, advent calendars. Guests can savor the Christmas atmosphere with specialties from authentic German breweries, including “special mulled wine (hot wine)” and hot chocolate. Additionally, the park features a “Christmas Tree of the Forest,” a 25-meter Metasequoia tree adorned with 1,600 bulbs, a 6-meter tall “Christmas Tower,” and a 3-meter diameter “Giant Welcome Wreath.” These iconic Christmas spots can be found throughout the park.
From JR Shinkansen Shin-Kobe Station, it’s a 5-minute walk to Herb En Sanroku Station/ハーブ園山麓駅. From there, hop on the ropeway, and in just 10 minutes (alighting at Herb En Sancho Station/ ハーブ園山頂駅), you’ll arrive.
