Starting April 3, 2024, Hoshino Resort Aomoriya will unveil a unique sauna experience inspired by Aomori’s rich cultural heritage. The “Aomori Nebuta Sauna” at Hoshino Resort Aomoriya is designed around the famous Nebuta Festival, featuring authentic Nebuta floats created by the Takenami Hiroo Nebuta Research Institute, led by Hiroo Takenami, the 7th-generation Nebuta master. This exclusive sauna at Hoshino Resort Aomoriya lets guests feel the vibrant heat of the Aomori Nebuta Festival, enhanced with automatic loo-ryu synchronized to traditional festival music. When opening the sauna door, visitors are greeted by a Nebuta float themed on the “Dragon God,” a water and rain deity central to the Aomori Nebuta Festival. At Hoshino Resort Aomoriya, guests can enjoy close-up views of these dynamic Nebuta artworks while soaking in the comforting festival warmth—offering a truly soothing experience for both body and soul.
