Chapter 1: Trends for the 2025 Cherry Blossom Bloom

This season, cherry blossoms will bloom later than usual across Japan. In Tokyo, the bloom started on March 24, and it will soon reach Kyushu and Shikoku. In Northern Japan, warmer temperatures will make the bloom happen earlier than usual. However, in Sapporo, the bloom will happen in late April, so there will still be time to enjoy the cherry blossoms during Golden Week.
